:: Reservation & Delivery Process
Avis Luxury Cars strives to provide their customers with a service that exceeds expectations, and sets service standards in the car rental industry. In order for us to be able to do this, we have set a reservation process in place that requires more information at time of reservation than the normal car rental reservation, but allows the rental staff to speed up the check out process. It also allows us to recognise any special requests that the client may have highlighted and where possible deliver a car that has been prepared specifically to the individual client’s needs.
:: Making a Reservation
The process works in the following way:
- Complete our online reservation enquiry.
- Once we have received confirmation of your booking from Avis we will contact you with your confirmed reservation details.
- The full amount of the rental will be charged to your credit card 15 days prior to your collection of the car. If your reservation is made within the 15-day period, your card will be charged immediately.

:: Check-out procedure ('collection' of vehicle)

You will be personally met by a member of the Avis Luxury Car team. Please note that the staff are in black uniform, not the traditional Avis red.

All hotel deliveries will be done in the normal way with the Avis Luxury Car staff requesting that the concierge desk call you.

If the delivery location is an airport, the staff will be waiting for you with a sign that says "Welcome Mr/Ms XXXX" in the AIRPORT TERMINAL.

The signage is not marked with Avis Luxury Cars to provide you with a understated service. If you do not want your name used on the sign to protect your identity, please provide us with a name that we should use on the sign and which you will respond to.

We will then assist you with your baggage to the vehicle, which will be parked as close to the airport terminal as possible. Please note that at check out of the vehicle, the staff will do a complete quality check of the car. You will be asked to sign a quality document where any damage will be noted.

:: Check-in procedure ('return' of vehicle)

You will be personally met by a member of the Avis Luxury Car team. The staff will be dressed in black uniform and will identify themselves to you.

All hotel collection will be done in the normal way with the Luxury Car staff requesting that the concierge desk calls you.

If the collection location is an airport, the staff will be waiting for you at the departure terminal (exact departure terminal would already have been confirmed when taking delivery of the car)

Your will be requested to sign off the quality documentation, where any discrepancies between the check out and check in will be for your account. The staff will then assist you with your baggage to the check-in counter.
